Very friendly
The employees have an attitude most of the time. And almost everytime I go after cleaning my discs before renting them to me they end up grabbing a different movie off the counter and I get home with atleast 1 movie everytime that I hadn't even picked out and vie told them this multiple time and they don't give refunds which is their policy but they should atleast give me half off my nest rental. Another problem I have is with their foreign movies. They used to put a sticker on them that says that the movie is in a different language. For some reason they stopped doing that and I have rented like 4 movies that were foreign and I personally don't have patients for subtitles. So I have wasted alot of money there and feel I have been ripped off for a good amount of money from this business. Pisses me off too cause I rent from there atleast 3 times a week. Finally got a fire stick so I don't have to keep wasting time and money with these ppl.
I am not one to write a bad review , but I have just left my family video in girard that I have been going too for 5 years, an for the first time was treated very poor.i stopped in to drop my movies off and just run in and pic up a game that my 15yr old son had called to ask if they had and they said yes , so I grabbed my 15yr old son an w my 3 old daughter in my arms .i arrived there at 10:47 knowing they close at 11:00 again was going to be in an out . Not to toot my own horn but I have been the # 1 salesman at a very large dealership in our area , because of the way I treat customers , I sometimes stay over up to 2 hrs , but that was not the case here . As I'm talking through the glass at the girl working there ask if they were open till 11 she said yes , I said why r the doors lock , her response was are u serious , and turned around an ignored me as my 3yr old started to cry that she wasn't going to get a movie .i told her I guess I will just have to talk to a manger tommorrow , but I was so upset I have to write this now .she was just very ignorant an left me w a very bad taste the way she talked to me , don't know if I can go back,that's a shame because I have never had a problem w any other employees , trust me I'm very easy to get a long with.she would not look at me long enough to even get her name off her tag and wouldn't tell me it , knowing she was wrong .she could of still rectified the situation and let me in for a min again was still other customers in store it was still open store hours. She had long brown hair in a pony tail , again with a very bad attitude . 7/13/16 I will be In touch with a manager tommorrow . Again never had a problem w girard family video or any other ones was always treats well, goes to show one negative employee can spread bad vibes quickly.
Lighting is poor,service people are unfriendly. Poor selection of movies. Just generally a poor experience.
